| CERTIFIED HEPA FILTRATION:
Each HEPA filter is individually manufacturer tested, certified, and
labeled to meet true HOSPITAL GRADE HEPA standards
(99.99% @0.3u). Removes airborne dust, allergens,
particulate, and mold with hospital grade efficiency.
Every unit shipped is quality control laser particle counter tested to
have zero particles 0.3 microns or larger at the exhaust.
TRACS uses a gasketed HEPA filter with thumb
screws compressing the filter to prevent air bypass.. The filter
plenum is sealed. |
| HIGH DOSAGE UVGI: Destroys
airborne bacteria and viruses. UV lamps are also located before
and radiating on the dirty (inlet) side of the HEPA filter to destroy
trapped microorganisms and mold. |
| ACTIVATED CARBON: Four pounds of
a special blend of plain carbon and potassium permanganate are
incorporated into the prefilter to remove harmful odors, chemicals,
VOCs, and gases. Low carbon prefilter pack costs encourage
regular carbon replacement to maximize unit adsorption efficiency. |
| Note: As of 6/24/08, the
Microprocessor Keypad Controls have been replaced with mechanical
controls in order to avoid a very large price increase from the keypad
supplier.
MICROPROCESSOR KEYPAD CONTROLS:
TRACS now utilizes a micro-processing keypad that
controls air flow and the UV lamps.
It also monitors loading on the HEPA filter
and the Carbon Prefilter Pack. Easy touchpad controls allow for
simple fan speed changing and UV lamp on/off.
LED indicator lights
monitor UV lamps and the filters to inform when individual UV lamps
need to be replaced or when filters are clogged with particulate
buildup.
